Antique Japanese document box in lacquer "maki-e" made around 1910 Meiji period . In front 3 medallions hand painting depict a young lady with the Fuji mount and two other with birds on flowered branches. Good condition only one bird is missing on one medallion 15" width 4"1/4 depth 3"1/4 high.

Boite à document en lacque "maki-e" du Japon, époque meiji, vers 1910. Sur le devant de la scène, une dame de qualité avec le mont Fuji en arrière plan, pour le médaillon central. Il manque un oiseau sur le troisième médaillon. Longueur 38cm, profondeur 11cm, hauteur 9cm.
