Gilt Bronze Marble Column Compass Thermometer 19th Century

French Victorian bronze column enhanced with gilt bronze ornament standing on a marble base made during the second half of the 19th century. On the top a compass and on a side of column thermometer with engraved graduation. 7 1/2" (19cm) height, 3 1/2" (9cm) diameter to the base. The compass don't work and the thermometer needs to be fixed as shown by the following pictures.

Colonne en bronze supportant une boussole et un thermomètre rehaussé de motifs en bronze doré reposant sur un socle en marbre, deuxième moitié du XIXe siècle, Second Empire. Hauteur 19 cm, diamètre du socle 9 cm. La boussole ne fonctionne plus, le thermomètre a besoin d'étre refixé.
