Village provencal with Cockerel Louis Grimaud Art Deco

This oil on canvas has been made by Aimé Louis Grimaud artist born in 1925 at Neuilly sur seine, student of the famous Picot artist. The scene show a roman church in the traditional French village with in the foreground one cockerel and hens. It has been painted during the Second World War. 18"tall, 24" length. It's signed on the right bottom. Good condition it has a patina due to it age. This painting will be sold with an appraiser certificate. The wooden frame is in good condition.

Huile sur toile du peintre de paysages Aimé Louis Grimaud, né à Neuilly sur Seine en 1925, élève du célèbre Picot. Scène animé, chapelle romane à côté d'un lavoir, au premier plan, coq et poules dans un village de Provence. Il est à nettoyé, bon état, on peut apercevoir en transparence deux petits manques de peinture, traces de xylophage sur le châssis. Pour la toile : hauteur 46 cm, longueur 61 cm.
