French hand carved wood pair of medallions showing Demeter with cherubs and Dionysos return from hunting made during the middle of 19th century. 11 1/2" (29.2cm) diameter, weight 3lb 1oz (1.4kilogram). Beautiful patina and perfect condition no damages, just the foot of on putty.
